Final Major Project
My Final Major Project focused on nostalgia and disco, resulting in a GIF of dancing disco trousers. This project helped me improve my skills in animation, digital design, and creative problem-solving while refining my ability to turn abstract themes into engaging visual outcomes.
Furoshiki Workshop
This is where I got my inspiration for my final major project.
Plymouth Map Illustration
I entered a competition that required illustrating a map of Plymouth. The design uses a bold, minimalist style with a limited colour palette, simplified shapes, and clear labels to guide users through key locations. This project allowed me to explore map-based illustration while refining my skills in creating practical yet visually engaging visuals.
Gunter – Character Design
I designed Gunter as a rebel archetype inspired by Aardman Animations, using bold outlines, expressive faces, and a mix of greens and purples to create a playful yet mischievous vibe.
The mood boards highlight his carefree attitude through accessories like sunglasses and a pink cup, showcasing my ability to develop cohesive character concepts.
Glitch – Foundation Year Project
Created for a project based on the word Glitch, these outcomes explore disruption through digital and traditional influences. They feature distorted classical statues, stretched glitch-style typography, and a deconstructed Mondrian-inspired portrait—each interpreting visual error and disruption in a unique way.
